PESHAWAR: Provincial Caretaker Minister for Tourism, Museums, Archeology and Information Syed Feroz Jamal Shah Kakasir launched the event at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Department Tour packages for families and women.

KPCTA Director General Barkatullah Marwat, PCTA General Manager Planning and Marketing Hayat Ali Shah, General Manager Culture Sajjad Hameed and Director of Tourism Police were also present at the inauguration ceremony.

The tour family travel packages includes a city tour and costs Rs. 3,000 Takht Bahi per person and the fee is Rs. 1000/person and there is a trip to Kanpur Lake which costs Rs. 3,500 per person,

The caretaker minister said in his speech that KPCTA will also start bus services to allow tourists to enjoy the beauty of KP’s famous tourist attractions and historical places of Peshawar city. He said the city tour will include visits to Sethi House, Namak Mandi, Museum, Ghor Ghatri and other famous places. He also highlighted the measures taken by KPCTA to promote tourism and said the government would provide all necessary help and support to tourists.
